They say that the aboriginal mothers are fond of their children and in their own way look after them and provide for them and that when they grow up they are more easily absorbed and employed than those who have been taken out of their natural environment and removed to towns. -

The Public Guardian of New South Wales is the legal guardian of over 1300 people with decision making disabilities. Of these approximately 150 have a diagnosed mental illness. The arrival of the commission's discussion paper on living wills is therefore a welcome opportunity to consider the issue of living wills and people with an incapacity to make decisions. -

The Australian Human Rights Commission (formerly known as the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission) was established on 10 December 1986 (International Human Rights Day) as Australia’s national human rights watchdog.
